As a resident of Kauai since 1983, Paul has over 30 years of real estate experience. He specializes in the sale of high-end homes, large tracts of land and commercial development properties.

In 1993 he founded the Kauai Housing Development Corporation, a 501c3 non-profit specializing in the development of affordable housing. In 1993 – 1994 he represented the State of Hawaii on the Affordable Housing Advisory Council for the 9th District of the U.S. through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle. He was nominated by Governor Neil Abercrombie to the Board of Directors of the HHFDC (Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation). His nomination as a board member was unanimously approved by the full Senate on May 3, 2011. He served on the board July, 2011 – July, 2014. In 2015 he became involved as a development partner in a 100% affordable housing project in Oahu, which is currently under development.

He has consistently been named one of the top five producing real estate agents on Kauai, with sales ranging from $25 to $50 million each year. In 2014 his sales totaled $160 million. He was the number one producing realtor in Kauai in 2008 and 2006. He was the number two producing realtor in Kauai in 2010 and number four in 2011.

He maintains an extensive network of investors, developer partners and buyers both in Hawaii and on the mainland. Paul has devised and executed marketing programs that have sold out all of his previous projects, some within days of opening to the market.

Paul received his EcoBroker Certified designation in 2009, issued by the Association of Energy & Environmental Real Estate Professionals.
